New extended trailer for Moon Mystery, full of gameplay mechanics developed by team of 15
The FPS adventure Moon Mystery has received a new extended trailer. As the game's developer explains, two years ago, it was his solo hobby project. However, to realize the idea of a cool shooter with diverse gameplay, a bunch of mechanics, and an exciting space story about a black hole, the creator quit his main job, invested all his savings into development, and even found a publisher. So, today, a team of 15 people is working on Moon Mystery — not that many, but judging by the clip, they have achieved impressive results.
The main hero of Moon Mystery is an astronaut who lands on the Moon to unravel the mystery and uncover a conspiracy surrounding the predecessors' fateful mission to the first lunar base. The developer was inspired by works such as the movie Interstellar, as well as games like Half-Life 2 and Firewatch.
The gameplay promises to combine challenging puzzles, platforming across dangerous alien landscapes and vast abandoned bases, controlling various vehicles like spaceships, remote-controlled cars, lunar rovers, and even a submarine.
It started 2 years ago as a solo hobby project. I went all in, quit my regular job, invested all my savings and found a publisher. Today, we are a team of 15 people, and this is how the project looks right now.

In addition to puzzles and jumping across locations, the player will face robots wandering through the corridors, and even more terrifying mysterious enemies. So, keep your space shotgun ready along with oxygen tanks!
The game is scheduled for release in 2024. If you want to support the project, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam. For now, the game is only aimed at PC — if sales are good, it will also be released on consoles.
